Nike Sportswear Blazer Mid Supreme Perf TZ - Black

We had a look at these in mid-January,and they’re out now at Nike Sportswear’s flagship store at 21 Mercer St. in NYC. The Nike Blazer Mid Supreme Perf TZ is labeled as such because it’s a part of their coveted Tier Zero lineup. As such, don’t be surprised to see a rich, buttery smooth waxed leather upper and a highly textured midsole. A beauty of simplicity sporting perforations in the shape of a Swoosh on either side panel, these joints are ready to go. They dropped at retailers like Huf this past weekend, so you might want to check the ‘bay (we looked, but don’t see any yet).

Nike Womens Blazer Low - Valentines Day 2009

This Valentines day, Nike has a few interesting sneakers coming out for the ladies. The above Blazer Low in red and white color blocking features a pattern we’ve seen recently in an Air Force 2 High. What’s interesting about the two are the skeletons with hearts replacing the eye socket, while v-day is generally more about love, the pattern seem call out poison more. Look for this colorway exclusively in Asia based retailers now, but you can also find them on ebay.

Nike Blazer High Premium - Green Satin

If you are a fan of the Nike Blazer High, you are probably feeling seriously overwhelmed right now. With all the upcoming releases recently previewed, you might be considering getting a second job and here is one more reason to do it. The Blazer will be released in a beautiful green satin premium edition with a black swoosh and sole. These are available exclusively at House of Hoops, so scratch together some funds and get there fast. Then break out your Larry Bird jersey and rep the old school in style.

Nike Blazer High Premium - Hoosiers

By now, you’ve probably already seen the White Men Can’t Jump and Teen Wolf installments of the Nike Media Pack. Completing the trilogy, the Nike Blazer will pay respect to the Oscar-winning film, Hoosiers. The 1986 movie, starring Gene Hackman and Dennis Hopper, told the emotional and inspiring story of a small-town high school basketball team and its coaches overcoming adversity in 1950’s Indiana.

With its old-school basketball style, the Blazer was the perfect choice to represent the Hickory Huskers’ red and gold uniforms and the black sole is a nice step towards balancing vintage with contemporary. The Blazer has been getting a ton of new looks lately and it looks like these will be among the best. A basketball movie themed Nike pack would not have been complete without a tribute to one of the greatest sports movies of all time. Available now at House of Hoops and coming soon to Osneaker.

Nike Vintage Glory Pack - Blazer Hi & Terminator Low - February 2009

During the month of January, we showed you a Nike Blazer Hi Vintage model in lush pine green suede and in another post, two Vintage Terminator Lows. Thanks to our family over at Freshness, we now know that these are, along with a couple new pairs of Blazer His, the constituents of Nike’s Vintage Glory pack.

Appearing in red/white and blue/white, the new Blazers are done in the same spirit as the green joints: high quality distressed suede in contemporary yet faded colours. With the soft lighting in the new Terminator Low pics, we see that these are somewhat similar to the Aged Leather pack of Court Forces from last year. Already released in Asia and Europe, this pack will hit retailers stateside next month.

Velcro Nike Blazer Lux

Somewhat similar to the Court Force High, the Blazer Low has gotten its own LUX makeover with the addition of velcro straps; three to be exact. The sneaker is made of fine, premium, full grain leather and will release in the basic, but sophisticated colors of red, black, and white. The three pairs will release tomorrow, Saturday, January 17th at select Nike retailers within the US.

Nike SB Purple Suede Blazer High Premium

One of the most popular shoes in the Nike SB January shipment is the Purple Suede Blazer High Premium. This shoe features a purple suede upper with black ’snakeskin’ on the swoosh. The shoes feature a white mid sole with a purple out sole to match the upper. The shoes also come with two pairs of laces in purple and black. Available now at select Nike SB retailers.

Nike Womens Blazer Hi Premium - Liberty Fabric

We’ve already shown you the Nike x Liberty WMNS Dunk High Premium’s that were released at a select retailer in Japan a couple weeks ago and now we have some information on the two different WMNS Blazer Hi Premium’s that are also a part of this collaboration pack of sneakers with Liberty Fabric. The two Blazer Hi Premiums use Liberty’s Phoebe and Nina patterns on the entire upper of the shoes. Look for these two Women’s Nike Liberty Blazer Hi’s to be released at the Nike NSW Store at 21 Mercer Street in New York as well as other select Nike Sportswear retailers across the globe.

Nike SB Blazer - Black - White

Nike SB is known for some releasing an eclectic mix of colorful and vibrant sneakers but they also release simple colorways of their easy to skate in shoes such as this Nike SB Blazer Mid, which comes in a basic colorway of Black and White. The upper uses a Black suede base and is accented with a White Swoosh and shoe laces as well as a White midsole/outsole. You can pick up this pair of SB Blazer’s at select Nike SB retailers this upcoming Spring 2009 season or at Limited Edition.

Nike Vintage Blazer Hi - Pine Green Suede

Nike Vintage has been very successful with offerings from their running heritage. This year, Nike is looking back into their basketball archive to bring one of their original basketball models back into the market, the Nike Blazer Hi Suede. The above Pine Green and white pair just as the other two feature vintage styled suede on the upper and other details to make them look old fresh out of the box. The above, the Blazer Hi Suede in Varsity Red - White, and a blue colorway as part a pack of three are hitting European retailers now but should be at most Nike retailers worldwide soon.

Nike Blazer High - Tweed - Volt

Similar in design to the X-Girl Blazer, Nike is releasing an interesting tweed Blazer. Giving the sneaker a more sophisticated and old-fashioned look, this Blazer’s uppers are covered in tweed, while the eyelets are made of a suiting, brown leather. The shoe contains volt-colored accents and is finished with a classic gum sole. They’re available now at West in New York and should be at most Nike retailers soon

Nike Blazer Premium - Year of the Ox

Earlier in the week, Beijing based kiDulty and Sneaker News help break the story on this years “Year of…” sneaker from Nike (the Air Max 1 Year of the Ox). Since, we have learned that a second sneaker will also be released as part of the pack. As we’ve said earlier in the week, more and more sneaker companies are doing a special China shoe to celebrate the “Year of…” story around Chinese New Year’s but every sneaker head knows Nike was the first sneaker company to celebrate this occasion and it all started with the “Year of…” Air Force 1’s which continued up through the “Year of the Dog” AF1.. For those of you who aren’t familiar with the Chinese Animal Zodiac you can read up on it here.

For this Blazer Premium, the treatment is the same as the Air Max 1 which takes inspiration from the Chinese Revolution and the military uniforms that were worn during that period, the 1960’s through the 1970’s. On the Air Max 1’s tongue there is a phase written in Chinese characters which translates to “perseverance” or “hard work”. The same is probably applied to the Blazer as well but is not seen from the photos available currently. The heel tab of the Blazer gets the same graphic of the Ox on a raised surface which is also inspired by the Chinese Cultural Revolution. Both pairs will be released in Asia early January 2009 but we’ve also learned that the UK (thanks Ran Shop) will also receive a shipment.

Nike Blazer High Premium - Black Diamond

With all the releases coming out of Nike Sportswear recently, there will be plenty of dope kicks to choose from when it comes time to pick out a gift for yourself or someone else in lieu of the upcoming holidays. Joining the lineup of dope releases is the Nike Blazer High Premium in an all black colorway. The toe-box is made up of nubuck with the heel-tab consisting of patent leather while the rest of the shoe features premium leather. While the colorway is simple, the design over most of the upper is a mesh, diamond design throughout the premium leather, excluding the Swoosh. You can pick these up now at NSW retailers including Alife Rivington Club and Nikestore

Nike Blazer High Premium - Playstation 3 - Detailed Photos

Not long ago, the Proper announced that they had the Blazer High Premium in stock but only one photo was released. This Blazer High takes inspiration from the Playsation 3 game system with its black base and a multi-color lenticular material used in the swoosh, back tab and a small piece of the side foot. Most recently we saw Nike Air Max 97 Playstation 3 and it looks like next year we will see a Wii Pack. Nike Blazer Supreme x Cassette Playa

We’ve shown you a few previews of this Nike x Cassette Playa Blazer Mid already but now we have some official information regarding the release of this limited collaboration sneaker between Nike Sportswear and one of the top sportswear designers in the World, Carri Mundane from the UK. The collaboration started when Carri was planning for her Cassette Playa Spring/Summer 2008 “Future Primitive” runway show that was inspired by the concept of “urban shamanism”. Mundane explains that “urban shamanism” is like “Ancient Amazonian hunting rituals adapted by a gang of skaters in a post apocalypticy city”. This Blazer Mid uses a combination of bright colors and materials to make it iconic in that the silhouette of one of Nike’s most classic Basketball sneakers does not change yet stylish enough for the 21st Century with Carri Mundane working on the shoe.

The Cassette Playa Blazer will be available at the Nike Sportswear 1948 store at Bateman’s Row, Shoreditch, tentatively on December 6th, 2008. And will also be available at Nike Sportswear in New York on December 20th, 2008. More details to come.

Nike SB Blazer Elite - Made For Skate - 24 Pairs

There have been plenty of stories around this special Nike SB Blazer Elite that was created for the Nike SB Made For Skate exhibition in Amsterdam, and now it seems that Hangtime in Japan has gotten their hands on one of the 24 pairs in the world, which they are selling via their website. In addition to the fact that this is the first time we are seeing a Nike SB Blazer use a huge toe cap on the upper of the shoe, it’s also the first time we are seeing the use of a new Nike SB shoebox, instead of the usual Gold and Black box that we have been accustomed to for a year or so now the shoes come in a Blue Nike SB shoebox.
